A Single, Centered Breath: Where the Spiral Began | The Breath Spiral Method
Updated: 7 days ago
From the first goddess sculptures to The Breath Spiral Method™, a journey of becoming, one centered breath at a time.

A full-circle moment that brought me home to my original breath.
I have always had the gift of empathy; of feeling what another heart is holding before the words arrive. There has always been something natural in the way I meet people where they are and help them recognize the light and possibility dancing around them.
In the early days of understanding my clairvoyance, I sometimes carried the wounds of others within my own field. I would feel frustrated when they could not move toward what seemed, to me, an obvious answer to their hardships. I could sense the possibility, but I had not yet learned that seeing someone’s light does not mean it is mine to lead them toward before they are ready.
I understand the gift differently now. It is the ability to remain present as another woman moves through the spiral of her own experience and discovers the clarity already living within her. There is something sacred in witnessing her remember, in allowing her the space to hear herself without rushing to fill that space with answers.
For years, I was drawn to life coaching because I believed my role was to coax people toward their highest and best. Today, I recognize myself as a Soul Guide. What I offer has softened into something more spacious: breath, presence, and an invitation for the women I work with to remember who they are. My own journey taught me how much can unfold when we are given room to listen.
The roots of this work reach back to 2008. I was mothering my five daughters, then ages four to fourteen, while working as a photographer. That year, I began leaving wedding photography behind to focus fully on pregnancy and newborn photography. It was an intimate profession, one that brought me close to women during some of the most tender transitions of their lives. Many became friends. Some became lifelong sisters.
A common thread ran through those sessions: women trying to be everything to everyone, often at the expense of their own breath. Mothers would arrive with babies barely two weeks old, physically tender, emotionally overwhelmed, and putting on a brave face to capture those precious, fleeting moments. They wanted something beautiful to carry with them through the years. Beneath the photographs, there was often another story; a mother who was exhausted, stretched thin, and longing for a little care of her own.
The photographs held real love and beauty. They also held more than anyone looking at them could see. I began noticing the distance between what women felt inside and what they believed they were expected to show the world.
In those moments, I felt the enormous weight so many of us carry as the sacred feminine. Our bodies are temples of creation. We spend months making room for another life, nurturing a child toward that first breath. Yet so often, once the cord is cut, the world begins asking us to return: to our previous bodies, our previous energy, our previous capacity to care for everyone around us. The mother herself is still becoming, still healing, still learning the shape of this new life.
I wanted to give that becoming a form. So I began sculpting goddesses.
Through the feminine form, I found a way to express what words alone could not hold. I paired stories with the sculptures, giving shape to the uncried tears and quiet truths of the women I was photographing. At their newborn sessions, I began making more room for the whole woman who had arrived with her baby. There was space to cry, to speak her fears, to be tired, to be uncertain, and to be witnessed exactly as she was.
Those early sculptures and writings were the first expressions of Goddess Your Soul. I could feel something taking root, even though I could not yet see the fullness of what it would become.
Over the years, the invitations from my own soul kept drawing me forward. In 2014, I reached another crossroads. My love for photography had faded, and the creativity that once nourished me no longer filled the same place within me. Life coaching rose into my awareness again, and I gave it serious thought. Still, the timing did not feel settled within my breath. There were fears and insecurities I was learning to meet, and another creative doorway opened.
I stepped into interior design, and color came alive in my world.
Once again, I found myself sitting with women whose outward lives told one story while their hearts held another. Some were navigating loss. Some were searching for balance at home. Others were trying to find themselves within lives that had changed around them. They invited me into their homes, and often into the tender reasons they wanted those homes to feel different.
I listened while they cried, while they shared their heartaches, while they spoke about what they were ready to welcome. Together, we brought fresh color, light, and expression into their spaces. Their homes became places where something within them could breathe again. I loved that work and the joy it allowed me to help create.
In time, that chapter began to soften and close, too. The calling toward guidance returned, while my own life moved through profound changes, upheaval, and the deepest grief I had ever known. Eventually, I found myself standing in the middle of my own mess, unable to keep moving around what needed to be felt.
There, I found my breath.
I began to recognize the thread that had been moving through every chapter: the space I held for mothers, the stories shaped into goddesses, the color brought into women’s homes, and the quiet invitation to return to themselves. Breath had been woven through all of it. It became the place where I could meet my own pain, listen beneath it, and begin creating from a more centered place.
The Breath Spiral Method™ had been spiraling through my life long before I had language for it. I had been teaching pieces of it without realizing what I was teaching, dancing with it before I recognized the dance. It had been waiting in the quiet spaces of my breath for me to see what was already there.
In 2020, I stood at another crossroads. This time, I was ready to stay with my breath and allow the work to take form. What had begun years earlier as an instinct, a sculpture, a story, and a moment of witnessing came into fuller expression as The Breath Spiral Method™ and started breathing through my work as a Soul Guide within my original home breath space of Goddess Your Soul.
Its birth was also a beginning. The method continued to deepen as I lived it, listened to it, and shared it with the women I was honored to guide. The spiral was still unfolding, just as it is now.
I share this here to honor those first turns. The deeper stories will find their place throughout the Spiral Library, each arriving in its own time. Looking back, I can see how every creative chapter held a part of what was becoming. Even when I could not see the connection, the thread remained.
Some things take years to come into fullness. We grow the capacity to hold them as we live, grieve, create, and begin again. The spiral holds all of it, the first stirring, the uncertainty, the pauses, and the moment we finally recognize what has been quietly growing within us.
And it begins with a single, centered breath.
If you feel the invitation to return to yours, your breath already knows if you feel this pull forward., The Breath Spiral Method™ offers a foundation and a space to listen. Your own knowing has room here. As a Soul Guide, I am honored to sit beside you while you stay with your breath long enough to hear what it is ready to express through you.
I leave you in love and gratitude
Luna
