Why lasting transformation begins when we stop searching for answers outside ourselves and remember the wisdom within
Many people seek out a life coach because they’re longing for change. They feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they know is possible. They want to move beyond frustration, release what feels heavy, and create more joy, purpose, and fulfillment.
Over the past decade, coaching has become one of the most influential spaces in personal development. It has helped countless people gain clarity, confidence, and direction. Yet despite its many benefits, I’ve noticed something that continues to surface.
Life Coaching Vs Self Trust
Many people experience profound transformation while they’re inside a coaching program, only to find themselves slipping back into familiar emotional patterns months later. They leave feeling inspired and hopeful, but eventually begin wondering why the confidence, clarity, or momentum they experienced didn’t seem to last.
So why does this happen? Is it because the coach didn’t provide enough support? Is it because the client didn’t fully commit to the work?
In my experience, the answer is more nuanced than either of those explanations. I understand this on a deeper level because I have embodied the fullness of this journey. Earlier on, before I found my full truth and nervous system regulation, I did what most people do, and maybe you’ll see yourself here too. This is where go deeper into the concept of Life Coaching vs Self Trust.
Most people begin a healing journey by trying to change their thoughts, behaviors, or external circumstances. While those approaches can be incredibly valuable, lasting transformation doesn’t happen through the mind alone. It also happens through the body, the nervous system, and especially through the breath, the most ancient and reliable mirror of our coherence.
The stories we’ve carried for years within our fascia, emotions, and energetic field are held until the breath returns to its natural rhythm. All those uncomfortable emotions, memories, and feelings must be felt in order to be released. They cannot be bypassed with vision boards, manifesting sessions, or joy-seeking alone.
The shadows we carry are messengers of light; they are the very keys to finding our light. In order to live in more light, we must move the shadows of our fascia, breath, and field. We must love them with our light before they can be released and alchemized into new purpose.
This is one reason many coaching experiences don’t lead to lasting transformation.
When we try to create lasting change without including the body’s intelligence, transformation often remains temporary. We may feel different while we’re supported by a program or mentor, yet return to familiar patterns once that external structure is no longer there.
This is because our success was often tied to our mentor—to pleasing them, to seeking their approval, or to using someone else’s map instead of discovering our own.
Anything built on sand will not last, and building your next breath octave on someone else’s breath will not move you forward to your own truth—not permanently anyway.

Beyond External Change
Many people unknowingly place their coach in the role of expert, rescuer, or savior. They follow the steps, complete the exercises, and experience meaningful progress. There is nothing inherently wrong with that. Guidance can be a beautiful catalyst for growth.
The challenge arises when transformation becomes dependent on the presence of the coach rather than the wisdom, breath, and light within the client. When that happens, people often leave believing they have lost something, when in reality they’ve simply forgotten that the source of their transformation was never outside of them.
True transformation begins the moment we remember that no one can breathe for us. Our breath is our own. Our awareness is our own. The breath itself is a continuous recursion loop, a mirror that shows us where we are in phase and where we are resisting. The deepest answers we seek cannot be handed to us. They must be remembered from within.
The Guide Matters
The person holding space matters just as much as the method they teach.
Every guide brings their own nervous system, beliefs, lived experiences, and level of embodiment into every interaction. This isn’t about becoming perfect. Every one of us continues evolving throughout our lives.
What matters is whether a guide has developed the capacity to sit comfortably with discomfort, both their own and someone else’s.
A dysregulated nervous system naturally seeks relief. It wants to move away from pain and toward comfort as quickly as possible. A regulated nervous system, however, can remain present with suffering without rushing to fix it. It creates spaciousness, allowing another person’s unfolding to happen in its own perfect timing.
That presence is one of the greatest gifts we can offer another human being.
The Difference Between Coaching and Soul Guiding
This is where my work begins to differ from traditional coaching.
I don’t see my role as someone who gives answers. I see my role as someone who helps people remember how to hear their own voice, their own truth, as a way to live their own story within their own breath of joy.
A Soul Guide doesn’t stand in front of you pointing the way. A Soul Guide walks beside you, creating a space where curiosity replaces judgment and presence replaces pressure.
Rather than asking, “How do we fix this?” we begin asking a different question.
What is this experience here to teach me?
That single question transforms our relationship with discomfort.
Instead of seeing pain as something to eliminate, we begin recognizing it as information. Instead of resisting our shadows, we become curious about them. Instead of fearing difficult emotions, we learn to breathe with them until they reveal the wisdom they’ve been carrying all along.
When meaning emerges, suffering begins to transform. When we look toward the pain with the question, “What is this teaching me?” instead of, “Why is this happening to me?” empowerment takes the place of fear. We begin taking the role of commander-in-chief of our lives rather than waiting to be rescued.
The Wisdom of the Body
My own healing journey has shown me that the body remembers what the mind often forgets. Our bodies speak. They command presence and attention because they have stories to tell and wisdom to share. We are each the most powerful healer within our own vessel. There is nothing outside of us that can offer what exploring inside ourselves has to offer.
Within my work, I explore how the nervous system, fascia, chakras, plasma, and breath function as an interconnected communication system. Together they form a harmonic field, a living geometry that reflects our coherence. They provide continuous feedback about where we are living in harmony and where something is asking for our attention.
My book, The Luma Weave™, soon to be published, explores this process more deeply and my work as a soul guide is based on this process.
As the nervous system becomes more regulated, our perceptions begin to change. The breath deepens. The body softens. The fascia becomes less a container of old stories and more a living map guiding us toward greater awareness.
We become increasingly attuned to ourselves, to Gaia, and to the greater field of consciousness that surrounds us. We become adept at leaving behind judgment, both of ourselves and of those around us. There is nothing in our lives to judge or feel shame over; every shadow holds a gift. When we dare explore those shadows free of judgment and shame, we quickly become in awe of the beautiful stories they have to share.
The deeper I moved into this work, the more I saw the same pattern repeating: healing becomes more sustainable when we stop outsourcing our knowing, begin trusting what difficult emotions are here to reveal, and learn to experience breath as a bridge back to ourselves.
The body is always communicating. The breath is always guiding. You are always the key.
Returning Home
At its heart, Soul Guiding isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about remembering who you’ve always been.
I don’t believe you’re broken, nor do I believe you need someone to fix you. I believe you’ve spent years adapting to a world that gradually pulled you away from your authentic self. Beneath those adaptations, your essence has remained unchanged.
Your breath still remembers. Your body still remembers. Your soul still remembers.
My role isn’t to lead you. It isn’t to save you, fix you, or ask you to become dependent upon me. My role is simply to walk beside you as you reconnect with the wisdom that has always lived within you.
The journey home has never been about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering the light that has always been yours. And it begins with your next breath, the one that returns you to yourself.
Take a moment now. Inhale slowly. Hold gently. Exhale completely. Feel the field stabilize.
If these words stirred something within you, trust that feeling. Your breath has a way of recognizing what your mind may not yet have words for.
If you feel called to explore your own journey of remembrance, I’d be honored to walk beside you.
Warm Love,
Luna

A Note on New Physics
The world of physics is continually evolving, and as it does, our vocabulary, interpretations, and relationship to what we understand must evolve with it. It is important that we expand alongside consciousness rather than become limited by what we understood yesterday. Curiosity allows us to keep exploring the connections between breath, body, energy, consciousness, and the greater field, while remaining open to what new understanding may continue to reveal.
